PCS Parents Board

The Pacific Coast Swimmers and Parents Association gratefully acknowledges financial assistance from the Province of British Columbia.

We host a number of events each year; these include in-house time trials for our beginning swimmers and our own Christmas Cracker and 12 & under Wavemaker Invitational Meets. Each year we also submit bids to host selected Provinical and National events.

In 2007-2008 we will host the following major meets:

  • Swim BC-Team Aquatic Supplies (TAS) Senior Circuit #1 - October 26 - 27, 2007
  • PCS Christmas Cracker Invitational - December 7 - 9, 2007
  • Swim BC-TAS SC Provincial Championships - February 28 - March 2, 2008
  • PCS 12 & under Wavemaker Invitational - April 25 - 27, 2008
  • Swim-Natation Canada (SNC) SWAD Can-Am International - July 11 - 13, 2008

We will also host two VIR half-day mini-meets, one in October, another in January. Parents and friends volunteer as officials at swim meets and participate in fundraising events. These activities enhance our athletes’ swimming opportunities and help keep our fees as low as possible.

Unless otherwise noted, meetings take place at 745pm at Saanich Commonwealth Place (SCP)
(1) From September 2007 through January 2008, the Board will meet in the Aquatics Classroom on the SCP pool deck
(2) From February through July 2008, Board meetings will take place in the PacificSport Board Room, also at SCP

Please confirm date, location and time prior to the meeting with the President or Secretary
All PCSPA members are welcome and encouraged to attend Board meetings
