AA LC Champs: Day 1

The hot weather didn't stop the small PCS contingent from some best times and a couple of trips up to the podium today in Kamloops.  This morning, Trinity Aragon-Scriven (11) shaved off half a second in her 50 free to get her second AAA time, qualifying for the big meet next weekend. The first medalist of the day was a bronze for Emily Laidman (14) in 200IM in a best time, followed shortly with another bronze from Georgia Ballantyne (12) in the 50 free. Kathryn Lee (12) handily won the only gold of the night for PCS in the 200 Fly, also in a new best time. One of the big highlights of the night was the 14&U Boys 4x50 relay of Miyu Dobashi, Brendan Chow, Nathan Chow, and Ben Gyorkos bringing home the silver medal in an exciting close race.
