Christin Petelski and PCS Honoured at Uvic Vikes Awards

PCS and Vikes alumn and two time Olympian Christin Petelski was inducted into the UVic Vikes hall of fame this week.  This is a great honour as Christin joins an amazing list of athletes of teams that have been inducted.  A great video was created to present Christin and is linked below.

Pacific Coast Swimming as an organization was also honoured with the Publishers Award, which is presented to individual(s) in the community who has (ve) made an outstanding voluntary contribution to a varsity program. PCS won this for their tireless work setting up and hosting the CIS Swimming Championships this year. Mark Lancaster and Margaret Penning were on hand to accept the award on behalf of PCS.
