Day Two 3 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronze for UVPCS

Day Two Finals - Another Successful day. 3 Gold 1 Silver 2 Bronze.

The second day of competition at UBC was regarded as slow on average but UVPCS was top notch. Molly Gowans lead out the evening with a gold medal 8:51 800 Fr for the win in the Open division. AnnaLetkeman(9:42.4), Lauren Crisp(9:45.4) and Rachel Sawchuk(9:49.63) were 10th, 11th and 14th in the 18 and U.

200Br Ian Wiliams continued to improve moving to 5th in the Open category(2:35)

In 200m Fr Gowans swam tired but strong to place 3rd (2:08) in the Open group while Rachel Sawchuk came back from a mediocre prelim swim to shine in the B Final as top competitor (2:11.0) Lauren Crisp was 13th.

400Fr Justin Howe swam well for fifth place in 18 and U(4:19)

50Br Nick Beland surprised by winning the B Final for 9th(31.7) Ian Williams took the bronze n the Open group (31.5)

200 Back Lauren Crisp was a crowd pleaser squeezing past National team member Emily Overholt for gold in Senior category (2:18) Anna Letkeman was 14th 18 and U.

100Fr Rachel Sawchuk struck gold 18 and U (59.6) And Nick Beland came away fifth in his best (55.0)

400IM concluded the individual events with Gowans earning silver in 400IM(5:04)

The men's 4x100 Medley Relay rounded out the competition. Lynn, Williams, Howe and Beland finished 7th(4:12).
