McKay Wins National Scholarship

Vikes men’s swimming recruit, Jon McKay, was announced as a recipient of the Victor Davis Award at Swimming Canada’s Big Splash Awards Week. The Victor Davis Memorial Fund was established as a tribute to Victor’s contribution to competitive swimming in Canada. It is awarded to promising, high-performance Canadian amateur athletes to support them to continue their training, education, and pursuit of medals at the international level of completion. Historically a majority of these recipients have gone on to become members of Canada’s National team, with many of them going on to represent Canada at the Olympics and other international events.
