Moses Lake Sizzlin' Summer Swim Meet Day 3 and Final Recap
Pacific Coast Swimming finished the Moses Lake Sizzlin’ Summer Swim Meet in third place, ahead of 18 other teams from across the inland empire region.
High point award winner of the 11-12 girls age category, Sydney Meldrum finished with 78 points from six wins over the three day meet. Bijou Speirs came in a close second place in the high point scoring in the 13-14 age group category after swimming eleven individual events.
Trinity Aragon-Scriven placed 3rd in the 11-12 age group category with her best placing taking first in the 50 breaststroke. Her time of 39.08 narrowly out touched teammate Sydney Meldrum, preventing her from winning a seventh event.
The 10 and under boys 4x50 freestyle relay came in 2nd place with a time of 2:57.10. The team consisted of Isaac Pang, Connor Mar, Aidan Pang and Sebastien Hon. The 11-12 Girls 4 x 100 Freestyle relay took gold in their event in a time of 5:02.25. The team consisted of Sydney Meldrum, Trinity Aragon-Scriven, Maia Denis, and Emma Attwell.
The meet was a great weekend for all those who made the trip and will have some good memories for all the swimmers and families involved.
