Saturday Update from 2014 Man-Sask

Saturday began with another strong morning for the group in Winnipeg. Allison Ballantyne qualified for the 100FR and 200BK A finals. Anya Pasemko qualified for the 200BK A final, and Victoria von Sacken Nash qualified for the 50BR B final with one of the only best times of the morning. The highlight of the morning session was Raymond Chou's 50 BR with a new personal best of of 31.91 dropping almost 2 seconds and securing a spot in the A final.

Saturday night started with Allison winning a silver medal in the 100FR final in a time of 1:00.32. Thug swims continued with strong performance and best times from Victoria and Raymond in the 50BR, and Allison and Anya in the 200IM. Raymond stole the show again with the swim of the night in the 200IM dropping almost 4 seconds from prelims and finishing in a time of 2:21.29.

Lots of swims to go on Sunday, should be exciting especially with a 13/14 girls provincial relay.
