Stephanie Dixon named to Canada's Sports Hall of Fame

Former Pacific Coast Swimming and UVic Vikes swimmer Stephanie Dixon was named to Canada's Sports Hall of Fame on Tuesday.  She is one of seven individuals that will be formally inducted on Novemeber 1st in Toronto.  Dixon represented Canada at three Paralympic Games, winning nineteen medals and setting multiple world records in the process.  On top of this, Stephanie has been a tremendous ambassador for the sport and promotor for parasport around the world.  You will be able to hear her this summer, as she recently signed a contact to co-commentate the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro with CBC Sports.  Congratulations Stephanie!
