Three PCS swimmers and their coach were selected to represent Team BC on the recent Prospects West Training camp and Tri-Meet. 96 swimmers from the four western provinces gathered in Kamloops for a four day intensive camp and competition.

Lauren Crisp, Molly Gowans and Jordan Andrusak left Wednesday and traveled with Team BC to Kamloops Thursday. Over the next four days they took part in 8 training sessions, made new swim friends, were exposed to new ideas and raced for their province in the Tri meet (BC, Alberta and Team Man/Sask).

Crisp and Andrusak had only returned from their two week club training camp in L.A. two weeks before. Both won their respective events in the tri meet with Lauren setting a new 50 Back club record and Jordan breaking the 100 Br record. Molly Gowans also came out on top in 50 and 200 Fr. All three girls earned spots on the provincial relays and helped swim their teams to top province in the 13 year old relays.

The girls showed exemplary attitude and energy throughout the grueling schedule and came away happy with a job well done.
