4x100 Bronze

Edmonton:

Day one finals: The first evening of finals was a very good one for PCS with 2 Gold, 2 Silver amd 1 Bronze.

Molly Gowans had another very strong session taking Gold in 200 Freestyle (2:01.64), tying with teammate Lauren Crisp for Silver in 100Bk(1:05.23), a second Gold in 800 Fr(8:50.76) and swimming 3rd in the 4x100F.R to help the team take Bronze. Gowans 200Fr clipped 2 seconds off the Senior Club record and 12 seconds off the 15-17 club record.

Allison Ballantyne placed 20th in 200Fr(2:13.9) just over her prelim time.

Eden Kormendy  remained 10th in 200Br in her best time(2:45.49). And finished 9th in 800 Fr also a PB 9:38.96.

4x100 F.R. Bronze 3:57.59...Rachel Sawchuk (59.71), Allison Ballantyne(100.35), Molly Gowans(57.29) and Lauren Crisp(100.24) set a new VIR record striking 3 seconds off the old mark.

Competition continues tomorrow at 9:00MST.
