Day 1 - 2019 Duncan Spring Invitational

PCS had 40 swimmers take part in the Duncan meet today. The meet started off with the 200 IM, where Ethan Woo swam to within a second off of the Age Group Provincial standard, and Sara Ponce de Leon dropped 13 seconds off her entry time closing to within 1 second of her AGP standard as well. Elliott Pierce also dropped 33 seconds in the 200 IM having swam early morning practice prior to heading up to the meet.

*See original story here* VICTORIA – The University of Victoria Vikes swimming teams earned two gold medals on Day 3 of the Odlum Brown U SPORTS Swimming Championships hosted at the UBC Aquatic Centre in Vancouver from Feb. 21-23. Third-year Vike Danielle Hanusearned her fourth medal to finish with one gold, two silver and one bronze, while fourth year Eric Hedlin won gold in the 1500-m freestyle for the second time in his university career.

*See original story here* VANCOUVER – The University of Victoria Vikes swimming teams had a successful Day 1 of the 2019 U SPORTS Odlum Brown Swimming Championships, hosted Feb. 21-23 at the UBC Aquatics Centre in Vancouver. Three short course and three long course school records were broken, while Vikes Danielle Hanus and Josh Zakala medalled in their individual events.
