2010 Nanaimo Fall Invitational

UVPCS swimmers and coaches traveled to Nanaimo this weekend to compete in the Annual Nanaimo Fall Invitational ... and compete they did!

Three Club records fell by the wayside:

Kristopher Neilson broke the Boys 10 & Under 100 Breaststroke record.

Lauren Crisp, Emma Carter, Fionnuala McKenna and Lia Lancaster broke the 10 & Under Girls 200 Freestyle record.

Lauren Crisp, Emma Carter, Katelyn Woo and Lia Lancaster broke the 10 & Under Girls 200 Medley Relay record.

Congratulations all!

Event winners at the meet were: Emma Carter, Lauren Crisp, Emily Ding, Annie MacIntosh, Kristopher Neilson and Tabitha Zammit.

Second and third place finishers were: Finn Barker, Nival Bissoon, Rory Hills, Justin Howe, Nathan Howe, Ana MacLeod, Jon McKay, Victoria Mock, Nicholas Nolt, Rachel Sawchuk, Michael Schmidt, Jade Simpas, Heidi Ullrich and Victoria von Sacken Nash.

Top-8 finishers included: Kennedy Aragon-Scriven, Ewan Barker, Ayaka Behro, Ciaran Breen, Katherine Krause, Lia Lancaster, Tanner Lawless, Anna Letkeman, Heather McMillan, Stephen Olmos, Jackson Sinclair, Ariyan Suleman, Riley Tesch, Rebecca Thomson, Katelyn Woo and Leanna Woo.

Swimmers with 80% or more best times in their events were: Kennedy Aragon-Scriven, Emma Carter, Tanya Christie, Rory Hills, Justin Howe, Nathan Howe, Erica Kelm, Katherine Krause, Kali Lancaster, Tanner Lawless, Anna Letkeman, Annie MacIntosh, Fionnuala McKenna, Shannon McMillan, Kristopher Neilson, Rachel Sawchuk, Jackson Sinclair, Anna Stebeck, Riley Tesch, and Tabitha Zammit.

And not least, congratulations to Rory Hills and Jon McKay who earned AAA qualifying times as winter swimmers as well as to Kennedy Aragon-Scriven, Anna Letkeman, Heather McMillan, Rachel Sawchuk and Michael Schmidt who achieved new AA standards.
