2010 PCS Wavemaker Invitational Meet

This year’s Annual 14 & Under Wavemaker Invitational Meet featured over 160 swimmers from across Vancouver Island. Everyone had a great time underneath the palm trees and bouncing beach balls (though the beach balls were a bit the worse for wear). Officials set a fine standard for beach wear and competitors worked hard for a chance to win the special ‘horse’ ribbons that are unique to this meet.

Our event winners included: Nival Bissoon, Salin Bol, Emma Carter, Lauren Crisp, Justin Howe, Ryan Howe, Spencer Lee, Fionnuala McKenna, Lauren McMillan, Rosie Moulton, Kristopher Neilson, Stephen Olmos, Jackson Sinclair, Katelyn Woo and Tabitha Zammit. Multiple event winners were: Salin Bol, Emma Carter, Lauren Crisp, Justin Howe, Ryan Howe, Spencer Lee, Lauren McMillan, Rose Moulton, Kristopher Neilson, and Jackson Sinclair – wow!

Further top-3 competitors were: Kennedy Aragon-Scriven, Graham Atkinson, Allison Ballantyne, Finn Barker, Hanna Carter, Achintya Chaudhari, Emily Ding, Shaun Gill, Rory Hills, Nathan Howe, Alexandra Kierstead, Lia Lancaster, Anna Letkeman, Edward Liang, Annie MacIntosh, Heather McMillan, Nicholas Nolt, Michael Schmidt, Riley Tesch, Heidi Ullrich, Victoria von Sacken Nash, and Leanna Woo.

Our top-8 finalists included: Shanae Atkinson, Ayaka Behro, Braeden Copeman, Abby Fraser, Samantha Gibson, Dana Goerzen, Orieanna Hartley, Liam Hayden, Patricia Horwood, Jessica Jiang, Erica Kelm, Katherine Krause, Isabella Leong, Ana MacLeod, Shannon McMillan, Victoria Mock, Emma Reinsch, Rachel Sawchuk, Anna Stebeck, Sophie Tarrant, Brandon Turner, Leanna Woo and Trillian Zammit.
