2012 Moses Lake Summer Sizzler Wrap Up

15 swimmers made the annual trek to the Moses Lake Sizzling Summer Invitational this past weekend. When we arrived on Friday afternoon the temperature was already 34 degrees and hotter on the pavement! Swimmers were excited to hit the cold pool and swam a number of personal best times over the weekend and some strong results against the American and Canadian teams participating. Most of the PCS swimmers in attendance had never been to an outdoor meet before so it was a great learning experience to have to perform in the heat and sun.

On Saturday afternoon the team got to enjoy the waterslides, lazy river, wave rider and more at the Surf 'n' Slide water park, as if spending the day at a swim meet wasn't enough time at the pool! On the way home, team travel swimmers were accompanied by other Pacific Coast Swimming families to the Woodland Park Zoo where some of the kids even got to feed the giraffes.
