2012 Thetis Lake Swim

The 20th annual Thetis Lake Swim of MS took place this Sunday, with a few of our young PCS swimmers (all girls!) trying their hand at open water racing.

Lia Lancaster, Fionnuala McKenna, and Kennedy Aragon-Scriven were all first in their age groups, with the latter two competing in the 1500m event, and Lancaster in the 800m.

Layma & Laura Maslova and Sara Pap also competed in the 800m event, marking their first-ever open water swims.

Congratulations girls!

Update with results: Lia Lancaster won her age group’s 800m in a time of 13.45, while our international swimmer from Scotland, Jane Hardie, came 3rd in the same age group with 14.47.

In the 1500, Fionnuala McKenna’s winning time was 28.35, and Kennedy Aragon‐Scriven came 2nd in her age group and 3rd overall, touching in at 27.51.
