Age Nats Highlights Day 4-6

Our PCS swimmers built on their impressive Age Group Nationals swims during the last three days of competition.

On Saturday, Lauren Crisp continued her exciting performances, breaking the BC, VIR and Club records in the 100 Backstroke, in a time of 1:06.52.  Crisp was dominant in the Backstroke events, winning all three distances.

Ryan Howe earned his second medal of the meet in the 100 Backstroke as well, coming third in the event with a time of 59.77.

The last day of the meet focused on open water swimming, and saw UVic-PCS tied with Edmonton Keyano for first place standing.

Zac Parkes won the 5km, qualifying for Junior Worlds and Junior PanPacs.

On the Women’s side, Vicky Mock won the gold, with Heidi Ullrich right behind her with the silver medal. Hanna Carter slid into 6th place in her age group.

Jackson Sinclair, Jon McKay, and Evan Letkeman also competed, finishing in 5th, 6th, and 8th place in their respective age groups.

Congratulations to all our UVPCS swimmers on an outstanding meet!
