Another Bronze Medal for a PCS Swimmer on Day 4 of Age Group Nationals

More from Coach Rod in Montreal.

The fourth evening started with an emotional rush. Lauren Crisp, at her first Age Group Nationals, dropped 2 seconds from her best time to snatch the bronze in 100 Backstroke. Her 2nd 50 eclipsed her first half as she drove for the wall.
Ryan Howe, also in the 100 BK, struggled with the lane rope but stayed focused to finish 5th.

The 200 BR proved another exciting event for us with 2 finalists. Lauren McMillan just missed her senior national cut finishing 7th. Alexandra Kierstead slid under the senior cut to get over the mark in her second event and finished 5th.

Tomorrow is the final day in the pool - Monday over 200 swimmers will compete in the open water 5km.
