Arizona Senior Championships Day 4

Our last night in Tucson featured 7 final swims.

200 IM was the first event up and Kali Lancaster and Sydney Meldrum had lanes 2 & 3. Kali dropped 2.5 seconds off her a.m. swim and Sydney dropped .32. Laura Rincon was next heat in the B-Final and dropped the same .32 to end up in 11^th place overall.

200 Back was up next and Lily Chen was in the B-final finishing up in 15^th spot.

Next up was the 100 Free where Lily was up for her second swim of the night placing 20^th, Grace MacDonald was set to swim in the A-Final and had great race dropping a full second on the day and ending up in 4^th position with her new best time of 58.85 which is a new Age Group Olympic Trials Standard.

The last event of the meet was the 800 Free and Jane Maycock swam a tight race and stuck it out for another bronze medal in just one second over her best time.

From the a.m. heats Grace, Laura Rincon, Sydney, and Lily swam to another silver medal in the 4 x 100 Medley relay.

Overall the girls team ended up in 5^th place a good showing for the 6 of them.

Next meet is the Mid Summer Madness Aug 3 & 4^th as well as the Canadian National Championships in Winnipeg.
