Canada Games: Day four; BC hot to go!

Team BC and PCS firing great on Day 4

In spite of long days and late nights Team BC was full of spirit and ready to go again this morning. Michael Schmidt, Keir Ogilvie Hana Edwards and Jessica Luo all had very strong prelim performances to put themselves through to the top 8 for tonight.

Schmidt will go in 5th in 100 Br and in position to challenge for his second medal performance of the meet after earning bronze in the 50m event. Edwards had a very calm 200m Back to get herself into medal contention in the final. Luo qualified in top position in 200m Fr first thing this morning just over her PB and swam a very strong 100 Fly later to take 5th spot as top BC contender. Ogilvie will go into the big show in 3rd after pushing to another PB in the 100Fly at 58.0.

All are excited to go up against stiff competition from Ontario and Alberta. Team BC sits just behind Ontario in the team scores on both women's and men's sides.

Tune in tonight for another loud and hotly contended session as BC goes for the win. Racing at 6:00 central.
