Day 2 of the AAA Championships and Pacific Coast Swimming continues to lead the meet by over 160 points.

The first event of the scoring events for the 2nd day of the meet was the 50 fly.

Sydney Meldrum came in 5th  in the 12-13 girls event in a time of 31.40 and Kali Lancaster placed 8th in a time of 32.13

In the 14-15 girls Jessica Luo place 2nd in 29.54 and Sophie Lorette came in 4th in 29.65 Grace MacDonald placed 6th 30.31

In the 16-18 girls Allison Ballantyne placed 5th in 29.38

On the 14-15 boys side Keir Ogilvie placed 3rd in 27.17 and Artem Kuklev placed 8th in 27.83

In the 16-18 boys Lucas Tyler came in 3rd 26.16

 

The first event in the finals tonight was the boys 800 Freestyle where PCS swimmer

Griffin Arnatt swam a solid race placing 2nd in a time of 10:39.21 dropping 20 seconds off his best time.

 

Next up was the 100 Freestyle where

Camryn Stannard came in 1st in the 12-13 year old girls event in a new VIR and Club record time of 59.65

In the 14-15 Girls event Jessica Luo placed 2nd in a time of 58.49

16-18 year old girls had Allison Ballantyne swim to 8th place 1:00.38

Followed up by Griffin placing 6th 1:08.13

 

Then came the 400IM

Were Kali Lancaster placed 5th 5:30.67 for the 12-13girls

In the 16-18 girls Sophie Tarrant came in 1st  place in 5:02.77

and Erin Lawrance placed 5th  in 5:14.98

 

Next up was the boys 200IM

Brendan Fitzpatrick 6th 2:18.01 14-15 boys

 

Then we swam the 200 Backstroke where

Naeva Scott Bouris came in 8th in a time of 2:35.94 for the 12-13 girls event.

Hana Edwards came in 1st  place in 2:20.29 for the 14-15 girls age group and

Hannah Lorette came in 7th in a time of 2:26.98 for the 16-18 girls

In the boys 11 & Under Griffin Arnatt came in 2nd in 2:41.58

Coming in behing Nolan Crisp who placed 1st  in a time of 2:38.33

For the 14-15 Boys Jacob Rambo came in 1st in a time of 2:13.69

 

In the Girls 4x100 Medley Relay

14 & Under PCS set a club record with the “A” team swimming to a time of 4:28.19

The 14 & Under PCS B team missed out on a medal by .33

In the 18 & Under age group the PCS “A” team won in 4:22.77

 

The boys 4x100 Medley relays are tomorrow night as the meet continues in Kamloops for two more days.
