Day 3 of Pan-Pacs

Update Day #3

Nick Sinclair came within two tenths of winning the 200 Back and punching his ticket to the Pan-Pacific swimming championships. In a blanket finish, veteran Canadian team members Matt Hawes and Charles Francis finished just ahead, but Sinclair was the only one of the top 3 to go a best time under the new textile-only suit rules. Nick was just 6 tenths outside the FINA 'A' standard, and a small improvement over the next several months will guarantee his trip to Irvine this summer to compete against the World's best.

Also in the finals tonight, MacKenzie Downing finished 7th in the 100 Fly final, while Richard Weinberger was 5th in the consolation finals.
