Dixon Enjoys Busy and Rewarding Month

UVPCS swimmer Stephanie Dixon always has an extremely busy schedule. This past month was no different. On September 12th, Stephanie was highlighted in the Victoria Times Colonist new feature series entitled ‘My Victoria’. Her story appears below. On September 25th, at the Swim BC Annual Meeting held in Richmond, Stephanie won Female Para-Swimmer of the Year. Stephanie closed the month as the keynote speaker at this year’s Annual Vikes Championship Breakfast fundraiser. She is an alumnus of the UVic swim team and 2005 UVic Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year. The breakfast, which took place on September 28th, 2010 at the UVic McKinnon Gym, raises over $300,000 each year to help Vikes student athletes realize success in the classroom and field of competition. Over $1 million has been raised in the three years that the event has taken place. For further information, click on the following links:
