Great Turn Out for the 2013-2014 AGM
Over 50 people turned out to the Cedars Room at Saanich Commnwealth Place on a sunny Sunday for the PCSPA Annual General Meeting. It was a full agenda including: short presentations from the coaches and board members, a vote on a change to our constitution, the election of our new board and...cookies!
I'd like to thank all of the 2012-2013 Board Members for all of their hard work, service and commitment for the past year! It was a pleasure working with you.
Special thanks goes out to Barb McKee who ends her tenure on the PCS Board of Directors. As well, special thanks and congratulations to Tim Smith who was made an honorary PCS member and will carry on in the reduced role of Past President. Both Barb and Tim have been with the club since the beginning and they have been mainstays on the board and at our meets (and in Barb's case even after her kids stopped swimming!) Thank you!
And of course, Welcome to the 2013-2014 Board: Dan Sawchuk - President, Tim Smith - Past-President, Nirad Chaudhari - Vice President, Kate Jennings - Treasurer, David Tesch - Technology and Website, Heather Stebeck - Volunteer Coordinator, Rob Crisp - Member-at-Large, Laurel MacIntosh - Member-at-Large, Boualem Khouider - Member-at-Large, Holly Moulton - Member-at-Large and (our newest members) Kingsley Lee - Member-at-Large and Audrey Panter - Secretary.
The club has a big year ahead with Senior Circuit on October 26 as our first hosted meet of the year and the Xmas Cracker Meet on December 6-8 which is shaping up to be one of the largest meets in our club's history.
