Highlights from the 2012 Campbell River Eliminator Meet

A few of the swimmers took advantage of the Pro-D-day on the Friday and went for a ski on Mt Washington on the way to the Campbell River meet. They went from the ski hill straight to warm-up with the Campbell River team on Friday night, then onto the meet for Saturday and Sunday.

Here are the highlights from the meet by Coach Mark:
James Camarda having only his 2nd day of skiing in his life on Friday, then swimming against former National swimmer Deke Botsford (43);
Mackenzie Mueller winning the first ribbon in her career in the 200m Breastroke;
The Cota family (5) all at one swim pool at the same time.
Santiago Cota (9) getting a DQ gift certificate from the official who DQ`d him. 
Emma Reinsch swimming in 2 Eliminators and staying in for the second round of the IM
Kali Lancaster with 7 out of 8, 1st place ribbons for 8 & Unders.
Anya Pasemko her first AA time in the 100 Backstroke last, the event of the weekend. 
Madeleine Gaul getting video feedback on her mom`s ipod (1" screen) 
Chloe Freeman swimming 100% best times.
