ISA May Invitational

UVPCS results from the Island May Invitational featured Sophia Borchers, MacKenzie Downing, Lauren McMillan and Rosie Moulton in first-place finishes. Also in the top 3 were Nival Bissoon, Salin Bol, Hanna Carter, Michael de Clare, Caileigh Filmer, Katelyn Hayward, Evan Letkeman, Ian Mattock and Rachael Newman. Rounding out the top-8 were Emily Ding, Kody Flegel, Ryan Howe, Alexandra Kierstead, Remy Mock, Victoria Mock, Stephen Olmos, Julia Schmidt, Brenden Ward and Allison Wood.

The girls’ age group 400 Freestyle relays both placed second, consisting respectively of Hanna Carter, Victoria Mock, Lauren McMillan and Caileigh Filmer (12 & under) and Salin Bol, Emily Ding, Rosie Moulton and Rachael Newman (14 & under).

For the 400 Medley relays, Katelyn Hayward, Rosie Moulton, Rachael Newman and Salin Bol (13-14) won their event, while Lauren McMillan, Hanna Carter, Victoria Mock and Caileigh Filmer (12 & under) were second; Zac Parkes, Ian Mattock, Tyler Smith and Cody Flegel (15 & over) were third.

In addition, Caileigh Filmer set a new UVPCS record (11-12) for the 1500 Freestyle. New SNC Western qualifiers from this meet are Caileigh Filmer and Allison Wood, while Nival Bissoon (12) is our new Provincial AAA qualifier.
