Day 3 Finals of the RBC Canadian Junior Championships in Winnipeg was UVPCS’s most successful session so far with 2 top 3 finishes.
Our first swimmer was Naeva Scott Bouris who won her first ever national medal in the 13-14 Girls 1500FR where she placed 3rd in a best time by over 18 seconds and was only 3 seconds off of 1st.
Sophie Lorette was up next in the 15-17 Girls 1500FR where she placed 6th in a new best time.
Michael Schmidt swam to a 3rd place finish in the 14-15 Boys 100BR where the top 3 finishers were only .16 apart.
Finishing off the night for UVPCS was the mixed 4x100 Medley Relay comprised of Hana Edwards, Michael Schmidt, Keir Ogilvie and Sophie Lorette where UVPCS placed 6th.
