More Great Performances at 2015 Open Water Provincials at Thetis Lake

One day after UVPCS won its third consecutive AAA Provincial Team Title, the swimmers were at it again at Thetis Lake.  The event saw nearly 150 swimmers hit the lake at around 9:30 in the morning.  The 11-12 year olds swam a 1km race, the 13-14 year olds swam 2km, and the 15 and Over swimmers swam the 5km race (although some of our 14 year old swimmers swum in the 5km race as well)!

Some highlights include a 1st-2nd-3rd Medal Sweep for PCS in the Boys 11-12 1km swim by Anthony Gutierrez, Michael Schmidt and Keir Ogilvie in times of 12:19.05, 12:44.13 and 12:45.13.  In addition, in the 15 and Over girls 5km swim, Vicky Mock and Kaity Gervais came 1st and 2nd respectively in times of 1:00:35.48 and 1:02:27.11.
