Report from Coach Iza:

We had 42 swimmers participate in the 4th Annual Nanaimo Spring Sprint Meet this past weekend. All the swimmers had a great time competing, meeting new competitors and making new friendships with kids from other teams. The wave pool was also a great distraction for our swimmers as they waited for their next events or hid from their coaches (just kidding).

We had a couple swimmers achieve their very first A and AA times this weekend. Rachel Sawchuck qualified for her first 11 year old AA in the 100 back, and Spencer Lee in the 200 free. Jasmine Lee also qualified for her very first A times in the 50 breaststroke and 50 backstroke for 10 and unders (just missing two AA times) and Cindi Li qualified for her first A time in the 50 bk.

We had Spencer Lee and Cindy Li get 100% best times.

Congratulations to all our swimmers, parents and coaches for keeping their happy faces on deck and cheering during this long swim meet!
