PCS Swimmers Medal on Day 1 of Age Group Nationals

Day 1 of the Canadian Age Group Nationals saw several medal and personal best performances by PCS swimmers. Here are summaries of the preliminaries and finals from Coach Rod.

Results from Day 1 Preliminaries

100 FL:

Best times for Jon McKay, Chloe Chapman

Ryan Howe 10th in morning for 15 yr old boys - swimming in final tonight.

200 BK:

Best Times for Jackson Sinclair and Rory Hills

Stefanie Schmidt going into the final in 2nd in 16-18 yr old girls

50 BR:

Best times for Rosie Moulton and Alex Kierstead

Alex goes into the 15 yr old girls final in 3rd

Aidan Thirkell advanced to the 16yr old boys final in 10th

1500 FR:

Zac Parkes will compete the 1500 frim 2nd spot in the timed final event

Stefanie Schmidt took Silver in 200 BK
Alex Kierstead won Silver in 50 BR, qualifying for Senior Nationals and setting a new 15-17 club record
Zac Parkes won Gold in the 1500 FR
Aidan Thirkell 10th place in 50 BR
Ryan Howe is 9th place in 100 Fl with a Personal Best
