SFU Invitational 2008

Results from the SFU Invitational are now posted on our results page. Highlights included top-3 finishes from Whitney Buczkowski, David Creel, Derek Doersken, MacKenzie Downing and Jeff Saganski.

The rules concerning National and University qualifying times differ slightly. Both qualifications must be renewed to remain valid. While National qualifing times are accepted for approximately two years from the time of the swim (usually September 1 of the preceeding season), University swimmers must re-qualify for the Canadian Interuniversity Championships (CIS) every season. The SFU meet saw CIS seasonal qualifying swims from Derek Doerksen and Annika Schmuck, joining Whitney Buczkowski and MacKenzie Downing, who posted their times at the recent Senior Circuit meet.
