Start of New Session for Lightning Fast Swim Series

Lightning Fast Swim Series Registration Now Open

Just a reminder to all families interested in the Lightning Fast Swim Series (LFSS): new sessions are starting up in January and registration is now open. Lightning Fast (LF) programs are offered at UVic,Oak Bay Recreation Center and Saanich Commonwealth Place swimming pools. They will also be offered at Gordon Head Recreation Center in early February, once renovations are completed to their pool.

Here is a summary of the sessions and registration information:

• UVic Lightning Fast sessions are Saturday mornings, starting January 16th and go to March 22nd. Register by phone at 250-727-9243.
• Oak Bay sessions start January 10th and go to Mar 7th. Register at Oak Bay or phone 250-595-7946.
• SCP session run January 5th to February 4th. Please call 250-475-7600 to register.

Please note that the Lightning Fast Swim Series is changing slightly in 2010. Lightning Fast is now made up of 5 levels. What we used to call Tykes and Super-Tykes have become Lightning Fast One and Two respectively. The previously levels of the series (LF1-LF3) have now become Lightning Fast Three, Four and Five respectively.
