Thetis Lake H20 Swim for MS

On Sunday seven keen PCS swimmers got up early for a swim at the lake to support a great cause! These swimmers competed in the Thetis Lake Swim and gathered pledges to help end MS. The team raised well over $1000 (official total to come) and swam to some great results.

In the 800m swim, Angelique Gillespie (also our top PCS fundraiser with $500) was the third swimmer out of the water overall to finish second in the women's division, while Brandon Turner was close behind to finish first in the 12 and under boys division. Ciaran Breen followed hot on his footsteps finishing third in the 12 and under boys division.

In the 1500m event, a full lap around Thetis Lake, Nick Nolt and Fionnuala McKenna, both 9, were the first two PCS swimmers out of the water followed by Gabrielle Fitaire and May Constabel racing each other stroke for stroke to the end.

Great job to all swimmers participating and a thank you to those who pledged them in support of MS!
