Updates from Day One and Two of Westerns

Took two days to reach Saskatoon after canceled and delayed Air Canada flights. The crew of 9 UVPCS swimmers stayed right on track through out.

Day one Highlights
Stefanie Schmidt fought hard to finish 8th in 1500, just off her best.
Racahel Newman netted a personal best 50 Fly and got under :30 sec for thr first time.
Hanna Carter snapped over a second off her personal best in the 50m BR.
Sophia Borchers also had a personal best in 50m BR.
Rachael Newman lead the girls 4x200 FR off in a PB the team finished 20th.

Day Two Highlights
100 Backstroke
Rachael Newman best by two seconds and finished 18th.
Stefanie Schmidt just off her best 100 finished 14th in 1:06.84.
Salin Bol also right on her PB of 1:08.8
Katelyn Hayward ad a PB of 108.4

200 Br - We lit this up.
Hanna Carter lead out our breaststroke crew with a 2 sec PB finishing in 2:47.48.
Caileigh Filmer won her heat slicing 5 seconds off her best time and moving up to 16th spot
Sophia Borchers also ripped a sec off her previous best going 2:43. 3 for 13th just out of the Youth final.
Aidan Thirkell was 11th and finished just out of the final.
