Vancouver Island Short Course Championships

Congratulations to all our UVPCS swimmers and coaches on their fine performances in Duncan at the Vancouver Island Region (VIR) Short Course Championships!! Highlights included lots of best times, top-8 and medal finishes and a new club record.

Our Gold medalists were Nival Bissoon, Salin Bol, Lauren Crisp, Emily Ding, Caileigh Filmer, Ryan Howe, Lauren McMillan, Remy Mock, Rachael Newman, Zac Parkes and Stefanie Schmidt. Silver and Bronze medalists included Sophia Borchers, Hanna Carter, Michael de Clare, Katelyn Hayward, Patricia Horwood, Evan Letkeman, Rosie Moulton, Kristopher Neilson, Julia Schmidt and Alice Wang.

Additional top-8 finalists were Finn Barker, Cole Barratt, Emma Carter, Eric Christiansen, Nathan Howe, Alexandra Kierstead, Katherine Krause, Eeh-Joe Kwon, Spencer Lee, Edward Liang, Annie MacIntosh, Rebecca MacKenzie, Heather McMillan, Nicholas Nolt, Stephen Olmos, Jackson Sinclair, Riley Tesch, Heidi Ullrich, Brenden Ward and Tabitha Zammit.

As well, congratulations to the following swimmers and their coaches for achieving new time standards:

And, last but not least, congratulations to Lauren McMillan for setting a new club record in the 200 Breaststroke (13-14).
