VIR`s Final Day!

Sunday finals; PCS completed our meet with 29 finals swims for the final session.
Highlights included Kate Marcovitz making her Tier II cut in the 200BK, while also
coming 2 nd in the Girls 12 & Under final swimming a personal best of 2:39.25,
Sydney Boon and Imogen Hawes also both making their Tier II cut in the 100BF
swimming 1:13.78 and 1:14.34 respectively as well as claiming 3 rd and 4 th in the 12 &
Under final. Bridget Rupert swam a nice 1:09.98 to claim 1 st place.
In the 4x50 Medley relay events PCS took gold in all age groups for both genders
aside from the 15 & Over Women’s category where they placed 2 nd .
In the Girls 100 FR 12 & Under: Bridget Rupert placed 2 nd in 1:03.90, Kate Marcovitz,
1:04.37 for 3 rd dropping 3.27 seconds off her previous best
For the 13-14 Girls 100 FR the PCS Girls Naeva Scott-Bouris won the gold in
1:01.37, followed by Mariana Ponce de Leon for silver in 1:03.12.
15 & Over Girls 100 FR Grace MacDonald took the gold in 59.84
12 & Under Boys 100 FR: Alonso Gutierrez 1 st and setting a new Club and VIR record
in 1:00.75! Nolan Crisp 2 nd 1:01.49
13-14 Boys 100 FR: Griffin Arnatt 1:01.03 2 nd
15 & Over Boys 100 FR: Jordan Cowan 56.23 3 rd
12 & Under Girls 50 BR: Annika Rupert 2 nd 38.79
13-14 Girls 50 BR: Mariana Ponce de Leon 2 nd 36.03
15 & Over Girls 50 BR: Kali Lancaster 36.19 for 2 nd
15 & Over Boys 50 BR: Arran Robertson 1 st 32.88, in addition to winning 100 BR
from lane 1 on Friday, and coming 2 nd in 200 BR on Saturday from lane 2 making it a
pretty good weekend of breastroke over the weekend for Arran.
12 & Under Girls 200 BK: Kate Marcovitz 2 nd 2:39.25
