World Championship Trials Day 4

The finals of Day 4 saw PCS grab a gold medal, a bronze, 3 further A-final spots and some B-final finishes.  Eric Hedlin won the 1500 Freestyle in a time of 15:08.35, 27 seconds ahead of second place.  Jon McKay grabbed the 1500 bronze in a time of 15:38.39 and Richard Weinberger finished 8th in a time of 15:47.94.  Chris Deegan, swimming in priliminaries, finished 12th overall after dropping 13 seconds, in a time of 16:05.33. Anthony Gutierrez placed 26th in 17:25.76.  Lucas Tyler dropped a second and a half on the day in the 200 fly to finish 6th in a time of 2:02.38.  In the 800 free, Stephanie Horner backed up her Gold Medal 1500 swim by placing 5th in a time of 8:51.99.  Kaity Gervais finished 11th in 9:03.69, and Vicky Mock finished 17th in 9:08.19.

In prelims, Jessica Luo finished 29th in 2:21.63 and Sophie Lorette was 39th in 2:26.65.  In the men's event, Keir Ogilvie placed 22nd in 2:12.84.  Swimming the 200 IM, Jordan Andrusak took .85 seconds off her best to place 19th in a time of 2:20.76.

In time trials, Jacob Rambo finished the 200 fly in a time of 2:18.56.  Jessica Luo finished the 50 freestyle in 27.37, and Cale Murdock swam a 25.20. Hana Edwards continued her great swimming, finishing the 200 IM in a 3 second best time of 2:26.35.  Michael Schmidt also dropped 3 seconds to break Nick Sinclair's 13-14 200 IM record in a time of 2:15.56.  Sophie Lorette just missed her best time in 800 free in 9:20.39.
