School F.A.S.T. League

F.A.S.T. = Friends Achieving Skills Together

The PCS F.A.S.T. School Swimming League consists of between 10 and 20 schools each year or 250 - 500 swimmers. The program is based on the popular Lighting Fast Swim Series available at many local pools such as Gordon Head, Oak Bay, Saanich Commonwealth Place and UVic's McKinnon pools.

The culmination of the season's training is a series of races at Saanich Commonwealth Place. Occasionally these races take place during a break in a larger competitive meet, so these school-based swimmers have the opportunity to see what would occur should they decide to try swimming in a full-time competitive program.
