2014 Hyack Youth Festival - Day 3

Well Day 3 of the 2014 Hyack Youth Festival wrapped up on Sunday and PCS swimmers had a great day in the pool!

Michael Schmidt, Jessica Luo and Sophie Tarrant all had podium finishes in their final day of racing. Michael placed first in 3 events: the Boys 11&U 50m FR (30.26), the Boys 11&U 100m BR (1:18.90) and in the Boys 11&U 200m IM (2:40.94).  Jessica took the top spot in the Girls 12-13 50m FR with a time of 29.29. Sophie wrapped up her night with a 2nd place finish in the Girls 12-13 200m IM with a time of 2:34.61.

There were lots of other great swims in the evening finals.  Here is a list of top 8 finishes and B-final appearances:
Jessica Luo: 6th in the Girls 12-13 200m IM 2:39.69;
Fionnuala McKenna: 9th (1st in B-Final) in the Girls 12-13 50m FR 30.23;
Darius Morrison: 8th in the Boys 11&U 200m BK 2:54.19;
Anya Pasemko: 7th in the Girls 14-15 100m BK 1:11.55;
Sophine Tarrant: 4th in Girls 12-13 200m BR 2:53.30 and 5th in Girls 12-13 400m FR 4:53.36; and,
Victoria Von Sacken Nash: 7th in the Girls 14-15 200m BR with a time of 3:04.05.
