AAA's Day 3 Recap - PCS depth strengthens club's hold of top spot in team standings

Pacific Coast Swimming had another big night of racing at the Swim BC AAA Long Course Provincial Championships, having thirty-six individual final swims plus four relays finish in the top eight.  “The number of swims we had tonight shows our club depth and strength as a team,” said Rod Barratt, Director of Athlete Development.  “There was great pride and support across all age groups throughout the third night of racing.”

With day three of the championships in the books, Pacific Coast Swimming added to their overall team points lead, and now sit atop the standings three-hundred twenty five points ahead of Hyack Swim Club.   With the meet moving to a five-day format from the traditional four-day schedule in the past, only female relays were swum on day three of competition.  On Day four the schedule reverses, and there are only male relays swum.  Hyack Swim Club has a very strong boys squad, so the Bolts will have to work hard on Saturday to hold their lead over the final two days of competition.
