PCS' own Stephanie Horner competed in Rio in the 10km Open Water race this morning.  The race consisted of four 2.5km laps against the best Open Water athletes in the world.  Steph started the race well and placed herself  in the middle of the pack early, finishing the first lap in 17th place.  She moved up the field a bit on the second lap to 11th place, less than 5 seconds back of first place.  It was the third lap where the Dutch swimmer and eventual winner Sharon van Rouwendaal pushed the pace hard from the front, forcing the pack to chase.
