Aimeson King to Compete at FISU Games

UVic-PCS swimmer, Aimeson King (10K Open Water), is among the swimmers representing Canada at the 25th World University (FISU) Games in Kazan, Russia. The Summer Universiade is the second largest multisport event in the world, trailing only the Olympics. Close to 9,000 athletes from over 150 countries are competing at the 2013 Games. The swimming competition is running from July 10th-17th.  Aimeson will swim his 10K event on the last day of competition – Wednesday, July 17th.

Once the Games are completed, Aimeson will be travelling back to Canada to compete in the Lac St. Jean World Cup 10km and 35km races on July 25th and 27th and the Lac Megantic World Cup 10km event on August 10th.
