PCS now has an account with the Bottle Depot at both the Glanford and Quadra locations. Just let the cashier know at the beginning of the transaction that you would like to donate your bottles into the Pacific Coast Swimming account. Easy as that!
We are happy to announce that a new season of our Stroke and Fitness program is starting soon! Before we can get back in the pool, we first need to reach a minimum of 12 swimmers. The schedule will be Tuesday and Thursday PM from 6:30-7:30 pm and Sunday AM from 9:30-10:30 am.
You can reserve a spot under Online Registration on our website. If you have questions about the program, please contact Mark Lancaster at lancasteraquatics@shaw.ca.
(2019-2020 Season Team Picture, below) The 2020-2021 season is now fully underway with 145 PCS swimmers and 48 UVic Vikes back in the water! We do have room for a few more swimmers in certain groups for those who haven't made their way back to the pool yet.
KidSport (www.kidsportvictoria.ca) is a local organization that provides grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under in Greater Victoria can play a season of sport!
We are very pleased to announce that registration for the upcoming 2020-2021 swim season is now open for new and returning PCS members! As it stands right now some pools are partially open but space is limited. We have been working hard to get as many PCS swimmers and LF swimmers in the water. This continues to be a major challenge.
D Group has been hard at work in their outdoor dryland sessions this summer building up their strength for when the swim season starts up again!
