PCS Swimmer Named to Swim BC Pacific All Star Team

Congratulations to Lauren Crisp and coach Brent Gaudreau for Lauren's selection to the Swim BC Pacific All Star Team.The team will compete in Langley against the All Star teams from Northern California, Southern California, Pacific North West and Oregon on January 7-8, 2012.

2011 PCS Xmas Cracker Swim Meet

The 10th Annual PCS Xmas Cracker Invitational was one of the largest meets we have hosted to date, with 24 teams and 604 athletes plus coaches from throughout BC, Alberta and the Yukon represented. This year UVPCS had 100 swimmers entered in the meet.

Welcome Everyone to the 2011 PCS Xmas Cracker Invitational Swim Meet

Count Down To Xmas Cracker

T'was the week of the Cracker, and all through the pool;
The meet-elves were busy, it's really quite cool;

The psych sheets were hung, on the website with care;
And all the kids look, to see themselves there;

The webcast is happening, the same as last year;

Highlights from the Richmond Meet

Annie Macintosh won the 50FR and was 3rd in the 50FR eliminator both in best times. In 100FR she swam from lane 8 to snatch bronze in a PB. She was also 3rd in 100BK and 4th in 200FR.

Weinberger wins Open Water Swimmer of the Year at Big Splash Awards 2011

The Big Splash Awards are taking place in Toronto tonight, and both Richard Weinberger and his coach Ron Jacks are nominated.  Weinberger is nominated for Open Water Swimmer of the Year, and Ron as Open Water Coach, respectively; they are also nominated for Race of the Year.
