Day Four Report from the 2014 Western Canadian Championships

The fourth day of competition at Westerns proved another great one for PCS. The evening began with 200 Fly. Jordan Andrusak was swimming her 22nd race of the weekend. She qualified 3rd in prelims and was just off her best. In the finals race her first 50 was blistering and she left he field behind setting a new PB at 100m and never looked back snapping 5 sec of her best to take the gold.

Vicky Mock swam an excellent technical race (her 15th) finishing 10th overall in the Open division.

Day Three Report from the 2014 Western Canadian Championships

Another day of fast swimming dawned amid rain and wind in New Westminister. While it was cool and blustery outside it was definitely hot inside the pool.

400 Free was first on the docket. We enjoyed a roller coaster of success and disappointments. Jordan Andrusak set off the session by finishing 3rd in the Youth Consolation final right on her best. Molly Gowans had to settle for 7th taking her knocks along with her successes.
