2013 SwimBC AAA LC Championships Results from Day 3

UVPCS finished the third day in 6th spot on our weakest day point score wise...the battle for the top three spots is tight and changes every event! A great night of racing ensued..

800 Free
Vicky Mock took silver and Hanna Carter came 5th in the girls 15&Over.

100 Free
11 year girls - Jessica Luo swam to 6th spot
13 year girls - Allison Ballantyne improved upon her best by a second to move up to 5th. Molly Gowans roared to the early lead and raced away from the field to slash a second off her best to claim gold and slide to within a second of the Provincial record.
14 year girls - Rachel Sawchuk missed the podium by a fraction for fourth.

Jessica Luo swam to 7th in 11 year girls. 13 year old Lauren Crisp claimed another gold with a PB and a tough race finishing 1.4 sec ahead of second spot. Michael Schmidt took 8th place in the 11&under boys.

200 Back
20min later Crisp was at it again to steal the show in 200 Backstroke and establish a new meet record with a golden performance. 13 year old teammate Molly Gowans took the bronze.

Well done everyone! One more day of racing to go.
