It was a big night for the swimmers at the AAA`s at UBC today. The meet is host of over 550 swimmers from across the province and is being hosted at the UBC aquatic center with both the indoor and outdoor pools being used for the heats with the finals moving indoors at night.

The Pacific Coast Swimmers took off at night indoors once the finals began we had some very good swims...

First off was the 800 Freestyle where Molly Gowans took 1st place in a time of 9:!5.42, Jordan Andrusak came in 2nd from a great a.m. swim posting a time of 9:22.06.

Also Jackson Sinclair was 5th in his 200 Breaststroke event.

Last event of the night was the 4x100 Free relay. 11/12 girls went in seeded 2nd and had high hopes but things didn`t go their way with a 4th place finish.. just as the coaches were talking to them about the race there was a disqualification and they ended up picking up some bronze medals for their efforts. Blair, Jessica Luo, Fionnuala McKenna, and Lia Lancaster were the 11/12 members

14 &Under girls put on a clinic in their relay finishing ahead of the 2nd place team by more than 10 meters! Congrats Molly, Lauren, Jordan, and Rachel Sawchuk
