Annika McGivern

Annika McGivern is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) who works with athletes, coaches, and parents to develop the mental skills that support both performance and positive sport experiences.

Annika holds a Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology and has more than 10 years of experience in coaching, mental performance, and people development. Her approach combines evidence-based sport psychology with practical strategies athletes can use in training and competition to strengthen confidence, manage pressure, improve focus, and perform more consistently.

Annika has worked with athletes across a range of sports and performance levels, from developing young athletes to national-level competitors. At Pacific Coast Swimming, she works alongside coaches and the Integrated Support Team to provide mental performance education and individual support to swimmers, as well as resources and education for parents and coaches.

At the heart of Annika’s work is helping athletes better understand themselves, build effective mental skills, and develop a healthy, sustainable relationship with performance.
