3 Gold 2 Silver 1 Provincial Record on Fourth Day of AGN

PCS women have boosted their lead up to 160 points ahead of Edmonton Keyano thanks to huge medal haul tonight. The combined team still sits in 5th with one day to go but has closed the point gap with 4th place Mississauga to a single point. The night started off with a bang in the 100 Backstroke, where fifteen year old Lauren Crisp captured a gold medal, just off her own personal and club records in 1:03.36.

PCS Women Hold 100 Point Lead AGN Day 3

At the conclusion of the third day of Age Group Nationals, the women held on to their 100 point lead to Edmonton Keyano swim club. With two more days of racing, PCS is looking strong, holding steady at 5th position on the overal team side.  Highlights from tonight included a gold medal performance from 15 year old Molly Gowans in the 800 free, knocking 5 seconds off her best time and club record in a new time of 8:45.44. Lucas Tyler also swam to a commanding victory in the mens 16 year old 200 Butterfly, taking the gold in 2:05.40.

PCS Top Women's team after Day One

Day one in Quebec City at Canadian Age Group Nationals went very well for Victoria's Pacific Coast Swimming. At the conclusion PCS sits 1st on the girls side and 4th overall. Records fell and Gowans/Crisp went 1-3 in 200 Back as a highlight in a exciting night of racing.
