Sign Up for Summer Swim Camps with the Vikes!

Vikes swim camp introduces children to the arena of competitive swimming. Experienced coaches will lead campers in stroke improvement, swim games, swim fitness, dry land skills and provide an opportunity for feedback from under/over water video. Participants must be able to swim 50 meters or be at a Lightning Fast 3/Red Cross Level 6 or higher.

Making Waves at Wavemaker

This past weekend we had over 145 PCS swimmers at our annual Wavermaker Invitational swim meet. A huge thank you to all the volunteers and officials for making this competition possible. We had a large group of new qualifiers for upcoming competitions, as well as 7 new Club Records Set over the course of the weekend.

Western Canadian Championship Successes

15 of our PCS Swimmers headed to Winnipeg this past weekend to race at the 2024 Speedo Western Championships. PCS scored 9th overall out of 65 teams, making us the top team from Vancouver Island. Our women's team scored the highest points score since 2016. Alex Camaraire placed 2nd in both the 100m freestyle, and the 50m freestyle. In the 50m freestyle, Alex set a new club record in the 50m freestyle with a time of 24.42. Congratulations to coach Alexx and swimmer Roy Pan and who passed his Level 3 Para Evaluation at Westerns. Roy placed 1st in his 50m butterfly this weekend, as well.

Fourth and Final day at Winter Provincials

Our final day of Provincials we were heading into Sunday holding 3rd place overall in the meet strong, looking to catch 2nd. We had over 25 individual finals this evening and went out with a bang of more qualifying times. Our first medalist of the evening was Sophie Wood in the para 200m IM, placing first overall. Up next was our 50m breaststroke swimmers, where Averie Hill jumped back up on the podium, placing 2nd. Maelle Sanborn placed 2nd in the 50m breaststroke, just .07 away from sweeping 1st in all the breaststroke events.

Saturday at 2024 Provincials

Saturday's successes started in prelims on the 3rd day of Provincials with Ayiana Gagne making her first Westerns Cut with a best time of 18:17. In finals, Ada Chen was our first medalist in the girls 11-12 100m freestyle with a best time of 1:04.4. Noah Zhang was back up on the podium in the boys 11-12 100m freestyle, just half a second from 1st place. Sophie Wood placed 1st in the para 100m freestyle with a best time of 1:06.4.
